    Turn on your extension once installed and let’s get to work with the infinite features of SEO Minion.

    Get SERP Insights 

    Before getting to know how to use the SERP (Search Engine Result Page) Widget, we need to know why exactly is it crucial to know and analyze what Google prefers to show for any given keyword, well it is important to know how competitively that keyword is to rank for and what type of content we should be creating if we want to rank for that keyword.

    So now we’ve got a firm overview of how important this step is so let’s get started to work with SEO’s Minion SERP Feature Widget.

    After installing the extension and turning it on, do keyword research for any specific keyword you’d like to write content about and rank for. 

    You’ll find immediately the SEO Minion widget box appearing on the left side of your search page.

    The widget will automatically show you what types of SERPS features are on this page, and it also shows how many are there for each SERP feature.

    Starting with how many organic results are for this page, Ad results, Video Listings, Image listings, FAQ data, fresh listings, etc.

    You’ll find a variety of SERP features in the widget, you’ll find Organic Results which help you gather and analyze the natural search results for any keyword, while Ad Results provide insights into the paid advertisements appearing in search results.

    You can also download the whole data shown in the widget as a CSV file for you to look at the data at any other later time, with just a few clicks.

    By clicking on the icon “Download this data” at the bottom of the widget the whole data of the widget will be downloaded to your computer as a CSV file.

    You can also copy or download a single specific SERP feature that is listed in the widget.

    By clicking on the upper left icon you’ll find the first drop-down icon, choose whether you want to download the data or copy it, then select which specific SERP features you want to download or copy by clicking on the second drop-down icon and choose from the handful of options you’ll find listed. Then click on “Go” and there you go!

    Extracting Google’s “People Also Ask”

    Google’s People Ask Section, is an important section to analyze and search as it gives you a quick view of what people ask about any given topic, so it helps you enhance your content or even build new pieces of content for your website.

    SEO Minion has this amazing feature where it can scrape the PAA section within seconds and (it even gets better!) it turns this content into a tree graph making your research very simple and visually appealing!

    First thing, choose a specific topic you want to search about, your SEO Minion widget will appear on the right side of your search result, choose “Download” in the first drop-down icon, then select from the second drop-down icon’s list P.A.A.

    Here you’ll find a handful of options for the PAA, SEO Minion can crawl from 2 to 8 levels deep. The more levels you set, the longer it’ll take it to crawl the PAA.

    Once you set the level of crawling that you want, let’s say you’ve chosen a 3-level deep search, SEO Minion will scrape all the PAA section answers and questions, so it’s a long list, which SEO Minion will turn it into a CSV file to view.

    The CSV file once downloaded onto your laptop you’ll find all the PAA  4 main questions with their URLs, and questions and answers, up to 3 levels deep. 

    This list will help you analyze the questions and answers to help you build your pieces of content.

    You can also view the PAA scraping as a tree graph, just by clicking on the orange  “PAA tree” button in the SERP widget. 

    In the tree graph, you’ll find your initial search, then the 4 main questions, and then their related additional questions related to the first level. All are shown in a cool easy-to-understand tree graph. When you hover over each node you can view the title, the answer, and the link. 

    By viewing this easy-to-view and understand tree graph, you can create a strong robust long-form piece of content, and even additional pieces of content for your website by analyzing and viewing the PAA tree graph.

    You can also close all the nodes you don’t necessarily need to better focus, and you can also vertically view the nodes. You can also save the tree graph as a PNG file for later viewing.

    On-Page SEO Analysis

    On-page SEO is critical for ensuring your content is well-optimized for search engines. SEO Minion provides a detailed analysis of your on-page SEO elements.

    Open your page that you want to analyze its SEO, then open your SEO Minion extension which is an orange small icon you’ll find in the upper toolbar of your browser. A list of all the features the extension has will appear on the right side of your page.

    Choose “Analyze On-Page SEO”, click on it, and in just one second a list of all the SEO checklists will appear in front of you. As in this second SEO Minion has analyzed your page, and pulled all the SEO elements that you can very easily review.

    SEO Minion generates a detailed list of SEO elements, you can view your URL, title, description, meta tags, headers, alt texts, and other on-page elements. 

    It also counts the characters of your title tag as well as the meta tag. For example, if your meta description is too long or missing key keywords, you can adjust it immediately, ensuring your content is optimized for search engines.

    You can view all of your headings if you prefer it “by type” sorting or “no sorting”. You can also click on the bulb icon next to each heading of your page to go through the heading you want to check without scrolling over the whole page.

    It also counts the number of images found on your page.

    By using this detailed SEO elements list, you’ll easily identify the areas that need improvement in your website with just a few clicks.

    To further ensure that your page is optimally SEO optimized you also have to check for your page’s links, and it is also easily done with the SEO Minion extension toolbox.

    Open the extension, and choose from the features box, “Highlight All Links”, SEO Minion will highlight all the links on your page in green, providing a visual and easy overview. You can be specific with choosing which links you’d like to highlight, you can choose from external, and internal links and follow or no follow links.

    By this step, SEO Minion ensures that all links are functional and properly categorized.

    Broken links can harm your SEO and user experience. You don’t want your audience to hit a 404 error page, and also broken links prevent Google from crawling your links whether external or internal links properly. 

    And here comes the role of SEO Minion’s Broken Link Checker which easily helps you identify and fix these broken links.

    From the SEO Minion extension, choose “Check Broken Links” from the features list.

    Click on the SERP Preview, then enter in the search query your webpage title, then write down your meta description, and URL.

    SEO Minion will show a preview of how your page appears live in Google search results. Adjust your title and meta description for better click-through rates.
